Elijah wasn't ready to say those words, at least not in Damon's hearing. Rebekah was different--telling her how much he loved her was..natural, but to say it to Damon was a little too much too fast. Still he meant that it was perfect, and that included Damon, who he kissed back softly, before they both snuggled back down on either side of Rebekah.
"Don't leave this time," Damon murmured, clearly toward Elijah, who had a tendency of slipping out sometimes before they were awake. He wanted to wake up with both of them there, still all wrapped together.
