"I'm not like you."
Damon had spat the words at Matt, rejecting his words, his offer, and they echoed in his head now and again. But when he walked away, there had been only one place he felt he could go: home. Part of him was certain he should have gone elsewhere, somewhere he could disappear.
The other part of him half-wanted to be found, wanted to see if they would come after him, come to find him.
Florence had always been home, a place where he could settle into like a second skin. Funny now, how badly he'd wanted to get out of it when he'd been human. Now, it was a beacon, always.
He'd settled back into the exclusive house on Via Tornabuoni, its polished wood and marble frescoes and inlaid floors soothing something inside of him. Tonight, though, he'd left it for the clubs he knew a lot of students frequented. They always made such easy hunting, the girls all but begging to be embraced by darkness. It was almost too easy.
He had a drink in his hand, sitting on a couch in the VIP section. Several girls were vying for his attention, but he was only half paying attention, his thoughts half a world away.

Seeming to sense Rebekah's gaze, Damon's hand slid in her direction to lightly caress up her thigh.

Then she shivered a little at the feel of Damon's hand on her thigh and she reached with her other hand to tease her nails along the inside of his wrist.

He nipped a little at the girl's jaw, bringing her blood even closer, but let her pull away to kiss him boldly, seeming emboldened by her husband or boyfriend's daring.

She returned the kiss from the boy, nipping at his bottom lip, her teeth grazing over the plump flesh which earned her a soft groan from him and that made her smirk. His hand slid up her side and she considered stopping him but she let his hand brush against the curve of her breast. Of course she nipped him just a bit harder for that, chuckling softly as she did.

The girl's kiss wasn't a bad one--he let himself savor it and the taste of her beneath it. Human and alive and so very excited to be here, doing this. His other hand wandered over her boldly, tracing her curves while his tongue teased hers and she gave pleased little sounds in response.

Breaking away from the kiss, she drew her mouth slowly along his jawline, nipping playfully till she got to his neck where she sensed the blood racing heatedly through his veins. It made her fangs ache as she wanted to bite him now but she held back to savour the moment. She drew the boy closer while glancing at Damon with a smirk.

He nipped over her pulse sharply, and she gave a pleased little cry. His fingers caressed her breast, distracting her with pleasure. Her little whimpers were barely audible over the music to anyone but them, but he was hungry and he didn't want to wait any longer. After one more glance at Rebekah, he gave in to the ache in his teeth and bit down on the girl's throat, moaning a little at the rush of blood over his tongue.

She wouldn't kill him since they were in the club but she certainly aimed to take enough to leave him all light headed and sleepy. Maybe she could let him stay in the VIP area, shoved to the side for a possible snack later if the mood struck her. But for now she drank till she felt his heart slow and then she pulled away with a pleased smile.
Lifting a hand to wipe the corners of her mouth, she glanced over at Damon again, the heat soaring through her veins to leave her body humming pleasantly.

She was a little limp against him, though, clearly woozy and on the verge of passing out. He settled her back against the booth and to any passing eyes, she just looked like she'd maybe had too much to drink.
He cleaned his lips and teeth with a few quick swipes of his tongue, then glanced back at Rebekah with a pleased smile curving his lips.

Reaching over then, she brushed her fingers along his bottom lip, teasing him before she caught a tiny dab of blood from the corner of his mouth where he had missed it. "Aren't they a lovely couple?" She asked with a playful smirk. "Was she good?"
no subject
"She was delightful," he confirmed. He didn't spare the girl a glance, his attention solely on Rebekah now. "How about him?"
no subject
Though there was something in her tone that said she wouldn't if she got a better offer.
